I am not getting this template stuff right. What I want to do is to do is to be able to type in a new clients name, select the template and have a client account be set up complete with dns, mail and a default web page. How does variable substitution work? It is not clear to me. Please be specific.
Hello, I've installed webmin and virtualmin and didn't run into any problems. Webmin and virtualmin both work fine and I can login at https://serverip:10000. Apache, BIND DNS, Postfix, Dovecot, ProFTPd, and MySQL are all running.
Note: domainexample.com is just an example domain
But if I create a virtual server virtualmin must also create a virtual server webmin apache virtual server or not? It is not very clear to me
I just installed Virtualmin on a fresh install on my server (I screwed up the server playing with settings, and it was easier to do a fresh install than fix it). For some reason, the installation was successful, but when I go to https://server1.mydomain.com:10000, All I get is webmin- virtualmin does not show up. Any ideas?

Ok I'm a virtualmin noob and I could use some help with upgrading from GPL to Pro. I Currently have virtualmin gpl installed on ubuntu 7.10. Its working fine at the moment. The trouble is that i can't upgrade my install to virtualmin pro.
I clicked the Upgrade to Virtualmin Pro link in the UI and enter my serial and license key and all i get is this:

Downloading and installing modules ..
through the database manager as a user I create 2 tables with a query and add stuff into it. However it always returns with error syntax.
Then I go to phpmyadmin... execute the same queries...and....no problems.
It doesn't matter on what domain or as which user I use the webmin module or what query i drop into it. Alway syntax errors, while phpmyadmin simply executes without failure.
Is there a setting I need to click on to make the module work? Or is there some bug? Pls explain in detail what I should do (Im a DBM novice)
Help me understand why I can not go out to the other sites.
For the first I created the virtual server apache then went into the home and say I loaded joomla and after I tried the site in the browser and I exit the installation I performed the installation and site work but can not do it with other sites if I go to https: / / www.nomesito.com:porta within the panel virtualmin but if I try to do it with other sites can not log

How do I delete all the spam emails on my webmail? There are over 3700 of them and I can't get to it via usermin due to an error (Failed to connect to localhost:143 : Connection refused).
any help would be great since it's eating up about 50 meg of space...
