Help! (Home for newbies)

I sent an e-mail to refunds@virtualmin.com on 2/5/2008 and then on 2/9/2008 with no response. I just looked tonight and still no refund on my account. My 30 days are not up yet. I decided to go back to cPanel for now as my clients were upset with the new system.

Everything I read says to e-mail refunds@virtualmin.com for a refund. While I really enjoy webmin and virtualmin my customers did not.

After installing VM pro on mycompany.com and creating virtual zones, mycompany2.com, mycompany3.com, I am unable to access the default web pages by using the ip numbers (static). Where is this problem addressed in either VM configuration or WM configuration?

When attempting a default CGI based install of phpBB, the following error occurs :

Failed to install script : Could not find PHP version for /usr/local/www/o/ov/overlord/docs/phpBB

I have been trying to teach myself how to use VM over the last few days. Sometimes I get lucky and things work correctly..other times though....

Anyway, I have been running this server (Main VM server) on my private network with an IP assigned from my dhcp server. This assigned address is 192.168.1.142 on eth0. My test virtual server is set at 192.168.1.155 on eth0:1. This server will be moving to a secure facility shortly and will require a public IP.

Hi I've followed the install guide for debian, but i still have this problem.

Suexec is enabled in the default template, but the Apache module mod_suexec is not installed or not enabled.

Which is odd as

My main account (username: pixel_paul) does not allow posts on the forum (for some reason). Could someone please have a look at it and sort it out?

In the mean time I still am having no joy with procmail-wrapper, apparently because noone can read my posts (they just get redirected to the home page)

My question is, how do I install procmail-wrapper if it did not get installed correctly when I upgraded to virtualmin pro?

For some reason, dovecot doesn't work for me. The server reports that it's running, and I can telnet to ports 143 and 110. However, the server won't reply to anything. It gives no welcome message when I connect, and when I try to login by issuing the commands via telnet, I get no reply. Obviously, none of my mail clients can connect to it. They just sit and wait, because the server isn't acknowledging any commands they're issuing. So the server is apparently running, but just not working at all.

Does anyone have any ideas what might be wrong?

Seeing that I am having problems getting posts to work on this forum, I am still having problems with procmail-wrapper not being installed on my system. Could someone tell me how to install it please?

I feel like this is a stupid problem, but as I am a newbie I hope you will be forgiving :)

My server has as hostname "hostname.de". I installed Virtualmin an created a new Virtualhost named "hostname.de".

In the Webmin/Server/Apache area, I see now two entries:

Default Server Address: Any Post: Any Server Name: Automatic Document Root: Automatic URL: http://hostname.de
