Hi I made a post earlier about not being able to log in. For some reason I am unable to red any posts including my own. I justwanted to report back and let you know that the way I was able to pull up login page was to use https instead of http atthe begining. HTH someone else who get's the error message in the future.

Error - Bad Request
This web server is running in SSL mode. Try the URL https://##.###.##.###:10000/ instead.
The port 10000 is open. Please Assist.

I have just posted with the subject "Install Scripts" the only trouble is text in the post is not what I have just posted :(
I think that a problem occurs if the same subject is used
As the text that appears in my last post is signed by a user called Shanon last year, I think that the subject name was the same as my last post and something has gone wrong somewhere and an old post with the same subject as mine is showing.
So I am gong to post my question here......

I am having a problem where clients can't see their email folders they create in either Horde nor any email client.
Here is what I have gathered so far. I see that when you create email users, those accounts are created in home/domain_name/homes/user.accounts. When you install Horde via install scripts, it sets Maildir in /home/domain_name/Maildir.

One of the reasons I upgraded to VM pro for was to benefit from the install scripts that install the various available applications automatically. Rather than me trying to install manually and messing things up!
On my first attempt to use one and install phpnuke 8.0 I find that I am not able to :( and get this msg when trying to install.
This script cannot be installed, as it requires PHP version 4.From what I understand from the phpnuke site it requires
Well, I am finally getting around to setting up my server VM Pro. Unfortunately, when I first installed it, I inadvertently gave it the name of a domain I want to host. I am assuming that the name appears in more locations than just the HOSTS file, so can anyone tell me the correct way to change the server name throughout VM completely?

I'm using the vm scheduled backup page to backup a virtual server.
I am also using Amazon S3 to upload the backup.
It's working great, except what I really want is a daily backup of each day:
2008-08-11.tar.gz 2008-08-12.tar.gz
etc...
My issue is that when I use the naming type; backup_%Y-%m-%d.tar.gz
The tar.gz files are created, but they are corrupt and I can't open them.
So, in closing, are these .tar.gz files or some other file type (or no file type)?

For some reason my postfix blew up on centos 5.2. I already had one website up and running and when I reinstalled postfix it doesn't see the email user id's that were originally created and it will not create new websites. It gives me this error.
Creating administration group songvestdev .. .. administration group was created but does not exist!
Failed to create virtual server : Critial feature Administration user was not properly created - Virtual server creation halted.
I have just reinstalled vm pro with still no luck.
Any suggestions?
I converted my server from cPanel to Virtualmin...and Virtualmin just plain rocks! One problem I am running into is the older cPanel sites running older versions of WordPress, Gallery, or Drupal are very outdated now. I'd like to be able to upgrade them through Virtualmin, but obviously it won't do it because it didn't install them. So, my questions are: 1. Is there a way to get Virtualmin to see these old, out of date, installs and upgrade them?
I am quite confused about setting up dns for servers under virtualmin. The more I read the more confused I get.
Prior to even installing virtualmin, I was only running webmin and I thought I had to create a new master zone for a domain and I would in fact create a nameserver.
Then I stumbled across virtualmin and it seems to setup dns zones automatically for virtual servers.
