Backup keep directory structure
Every time I make a back up it looks like this(see picture attached). How can I backup and keep the nice directory structure of my server. It's not handy If you only need the backup of a specific file.
Got a problem not covered by the docs? Don't know where to look in the docs or in the forums? All of the other forums over your head? If you're new to Virtualmin, this is the place for you.

Hello,
Where are the proftpd logs located?
I use Centos 6, Apache with virtualmin
Hello everybody...
After Locutus was kind enough to go through my system and showed me how it might have already been compromised, I decided I should just pull off all the content, re-install and start again. Though I had nginx up on the initial install, since I'm using mostly wordpress sites I followed his recommendation to install apache, but I'm having problems with virtualmin / virtual servers and can't get apache to run after an intitial install was working. I'm sure it's something I did wrong but:
I've had a problem with my email for a few days and this is my primary work domain, so needless to say I'm freaking out.
For some time I've had a virtualmin/webmin/dovecot/postfix setup that functioned, but sending mail was always a problem - so I always used another account to send from my mail software. However usermin use to send just fine.
I just installed Virtualmin and had my Cpanel run a full forced backup (which Virtualmin is replacing). The Cpanel backup is not a tar.gz file, it was 2 directorys called dirs and files ... within those directories are more tar files. So I tarred both the folders into one tar file and ftp'd the tar file off the server.
When trying to use migrate, loaded up the tar file but it keeps coming back with: validation failed : Not a cPanel daily or home directory backup file
Any ideas?
Hello,
One of my servers has recently been successfully attacked by a ukrain IP. Through a website (which has been removed in the meantime) they managed to upload a malicious php code:
Error install webmin-virtualmin-git
Installation le(s) composant(s) avec la commande apt-get -y install webmin-virtualmin-git ...
I wanted to install to a virtualmin server (runing on Centos6) a latest version of Joomla. Unfortunately it requires php 5.3.10 or higher, while the highest available by Virtualmin is 5.3.3. Any idea, how can I upgrade to this or higher version ? Thank you
Ok So I have a mix of accounts migrated from 2 servers. Some accounts were migrated from virtualmin and most were migrated from cPanel. All of them work fine(mostly) as fare as the sites go. But none of the cPanel migrated accounts created a webmin user for them, so in other words the account owner has no way to login and change anything about their account, even though I can and everything elsese about their accounts are working.
