hello - for years we have been using REMOTE_ADDR but suddenly it appears to be pointing to my own server, while HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR now seems to correctly contain the remote address.
did something change in apache in the last couple of days?

This has me stumped - for an existing User I have, as root, in Virtualmin > Administration Options > Edit Owner Limits > Allowed capabilities and features > Allowed features for servers, set
BIND DNS Domain - unticked
AWStats Reporting - ticked
If I log in to Virtualmin as the User and contrary to the settings I made as root
there is no Awstats Report under Virtualmin > Logs and Reports
there is BIND DNS Server underVirtualmin > Webmin Modules (the user can access this and make changes)

Having played with Virtualmin for a few months, well more like learning as I've had my live sites up and running, it's time to move to a better host. I've followed the instructions and have got stuck on the transfer of backups from current server to new.
Based on this command scp -r /root/backups root@new_server.com:/root/ I used

I'm having trouble getting my SPF and DKIM records to be discovered, but I'll let this be about SPF to keep things simple.
My server is a Kimsufi, from OVH Hosting. BIND was set up by Virtualmin and later I only added a PTR record (works fine) and SPF + DKIM.
So far, http://dkimvalidator.com/ provided the best clue (I anonymized my domain infos):
First time installing Virtualmin. After few failures I got it installed to a point. Now the problem I have is it's showing me a blank page for testing domain which is the one i use for namesevers.
I know it has to be something to do with php but I had this same problem before when I tried to installed Kloxo-MR in same server. Same problem just a while blank page for php files.
I tested phpinfo file and it works fine
tried to add On value to open_basedir but it doesn't save it. Even after reboot phpinfo shows novalue for that.
Hi, I use Virtualmin for several months now and I have really adopted it. But, I encountered an issue and I don't know if it is from my lack of expertise or a bug.
When I create a new virtual server, its php.ini file is located in "/home/server-folder/etc/php5/php.ini" and it is the behavior I expect. But when I change the DocumentRoot from "/public_html" to "/public_html/sub-folder", the php.ini file used by my virtual server becomes the global /etc/php.ini.
Hi guys I have a webmin installed on ubuntu server and I configured it from official website to have a mailserver. I can send outgoing emails for example to yahoo or gmail accounts but I can't receive email from outside. I have created a virtual server for my mail server and named it like my domain name, and then i created a bind zone and in there configured A records and nameservers and mail server records.
when i send an email from gmail to my mailserver i get this error message :
