Help! (Home for newbies)

My Webmin / Virtualmin has not shown any updates for a long time. I've had software and other updates to the underlying Ubuntu server as expected, but my Webmin / Virtualmin install is now several versions behind the latest release.

I'm fairly sure i had update notifications some time ago, so I can only assume that some file has been overwritten and now the relevant repos have been removed from my system.

Can, I just add in the relevant repos and my system will update without issue? If so, what are the repos and how do I add them to my Ubuntu 14.04 server?

Hi guys, I am unable to run google maps on my Wordpress website.

The website says there is a javascript error.

I have checked that javascript is enabled in my web browser (google Chrome) and it is.

I also get the same error when running microsoft edge.

I am not sure what i should be doing to get google maps working, i havent encountered this issue before.

I want to start using virtualmin and have created a new centos 7 server with minimal packages. Then I installed virtualmin and it looked fine. I created a virtual server, installed some sw on that - all looked fine. I could login to this virtual server port 10000 and had the 2 tabs webmin and virtualmin.

Then I did my crime: I changed the theme to "old webmin"

After that I get plain old webmin, when I login as the user to :10000 - also the login page i webmin, not virtualmin.

When I login to :10000 with admin login, all is ok.

Hello, I have installed virtualmin pro + whmcs, when a client makes a request it is installed virtual with username and password and all this information arrives at the user's email, for example (user, password, url etc) but the user does not receive the data Of the script also installed (dolibar) the scripts were installed correctly previously. Is it possible to send the script installation data such as user, password, url? Thank you very much for the community help.

The web interface does not work this is what I get after an apt-get update

Tried this work around

apt-get -o Acquire::Check-Valid-Until=false update

Which let it update but buttons do not click tio allow changes (Like I wanted to change the password on a site.

Hi everybods, sorry for the old subject but i would know what's an exemple manually spf record for a domain using virtualmin but not as a dns server?

Mails aren't sent to hotmail mailboxes because there's no spf record for this domain. I manage my servers still a long time and it works but since a couple of days, i get this error on hotmail.

Honestly, this program is starting to shit me!

As soon as anything is done that is outside a default install virtualmin doesnt work properly and all sorts of errors are encountered with a fix that requires a degree in rocket science to correct!

In virtualmin 1. i created a new database for whmcs and gave it a custom name 2. i then went into users and created a new user to be utilised with whmcs 3. i added the user to the database in permissions

log into url for the whmcs install and here we F'ing go and error...

I have just installed phpmyadmin from command shell in ubuntu 16.04.

I followed the ubuntu documentation https://help.ubuntu.com/lts/serverguide/phpmyadmin.html

when i attempt to navigate to myurl/phpmyadmin in web browser it loads the php loader script instead of the phpmyadmin page.

how do i fix this without making a mess of my server?

I am trying to force my domain only to HTTPS.

can any one please advise the steps..

What I think I have discovered is some kind of weirdness that I feel you should know about.

I am running Virtualmin 5.07 on CentOS Linux 7.3.1611.

I created a new VS called fuelstat.info. I gave the main username as fuelstatadmin2017 and the password as Fs2017$$$. I then went in to create other regular users of the form user1@fuelstat.info, user2@fuelstat.info etc.
