Got a problem not covered by the docs? Don't know where to look in the docs or in the forums? All of the other forums over your head? If you're new to Virtualmin, this is the place for you.

Can send and receive mails locally, but only receive remotely.

Hello, I've setup a virtual server which works fine, now I've been trying for the last couple of hours to figure out why my emails wont send when I try to use mail clients like thunderbird and outlook, when they can receive just fine. Outlook says it can't cannot to the outgoing(SMTP) e-mail server. And Thunderbird just times out.

The server is a remote dedicated pc runing Ubuntu 16.04 LTS and no ports should be blocked.

This is what my mail.log shows when attempting setting up the account in outlook

DNS configuration - domain won't resolve

Hi all, I've installed Webmin and Virtualmin on a new CentOS 7 server to migrate sites from a dedicated cPanel server. The installation went smoothly, all services are running correctly and passing the 'Checking Configuration' script without error.

My server's sanitized hostname is 'server.mydomain.com' and I'm able to connect to Webmin by https://{ip-address}:10000 but not via http://server.mydomain.com:10000 as it doesn't resolve.

Chrome Rejecting Webmin localhost Self-Signed Certificate (its security certificate is from [missing_subjectAltName])

I am running Virtualmin GPL 5.07 on an Amazon EC2 server running CentOS 6. Since I do a lot of work on the server via SSH, I decided to tunnel port 10000 through putty, allowing me to block all access to Virtualmin/Webmin from the Internet. Adding the self-signed 'localhost' to the certificate store got rid of all the Chrome error messages until recently, when Chrome started to complain about "This server could not prove that it is localhost; its security certificate is from [missing_subjectAltName].

Tried to copy ssl cert to webmin

I was doing as I usually do.. I requested a certificate via Let's Encrypt, and then I clicked the "Copy to Webmin" button, but something appeared to happen, like packet loss.. now webmin does not start up.

service webmin restart

Stopping Webmin server in /usr/libexec/webmin
Starting Webmin server in /usr/libexec/webmin
Failed to open SSL key /etc/webmin/domain.tld.key at /usr/libexec/webmin/miniserv.pl line 4403.

I have verified the key file exists, but I still receive this error.
