Hey, i'm new to the panel. finished setting up fresh droplet on ubuntu 16.04. Set up virtualmin, added domains to vultr panel. added ns to namecheap (domains there)

i'm having this problem for few day's. None of my IMAP isn't working. i can't receive any email to my address ! i can connect through IMAP from Remote IP but that address isn't receiving any email comes to it and it's saying the address is invalid. Can anyone help me to solve this ?

Hi need help.. trying to setup external smtp server but now i cannot login to dovecot using virtualmin user.

this is i have done :

1. nano /etc/postfix/sasl_passwd
2. postmap /etc/postfix/sasl_passwd

Hi there, I have a slight issue with an alias server against a non-default Shared IP address.

Against this IP, I have the following:

domain1 (this is the default website for the IP address) domain2 domain3

These all work correctly as you would expect.

I have tried to add an alias to domain2 as follows

I have updated the dns records to point to the IP address. When I access domain2a in a browser, it goes to domain1 instead of domain2.

What have I missed?

I have a server setup as follows.

domain1.co.uk domain2.co.uk domain3.co.uk

All of the above domains are set against a non-default shared ip address, and seem to work correctly. domain1.co.uk is the default website for the IP.

I am trying to add an alias to domain2.co.uk.

I have created the alias domain2a.co.uk against domain2.co.uk, and updated the dns records against it at the registrar.

When accessing domain2a.co.uk, it actually goes to domain1.co.uk...

What have I done wrong?!

Im newbie for webserver. I installed virtualmin and able to create virtual server. i just need to configure to send out email only and not for receive.

one of the website have contact us page which need to send email from there. How can i configure for this? Currently im trying to send email from contact us page but its unable to deliver the email.

Can anyone guide me on this?

I've been digging around on the forums, and have not yet found quite the correct answer to this one.

I believe that everything is correctly set up in Virtualmin; however, when I run the Virtualmin install script for phpmyadmin 4.4.15.10, it fails.

The error returned is:

Failed to extract source : Failed to create target directory : mkdir: cannot create directory `/home/myvirtualserver/public_html/phpmyadmin': Permission denied

Any thoughts?

We've bought a 4 node rack server and I'm wondering how to set it up with regard to Virtualmin.

To take advantage of all the nodes, there'll be load balancing - with something like HAProxy, for example - to distribute the incoming traffic amongst the nodes.

The thing is, each of the nodes needs to be identical. All the websites / emails / etc. the same, so that it doesn't matter which node the load balancer sends the request to, it can all be satisfied by any and all of them equally well.
