Webmin

Due to work configuration on the proxy. I cannot access my domains control panel on https://

How would I go about setting up a proxy on my server that will let me load it still? I plan to lock down the proxy with .htaccess etc.

I change my isp and my ip was changed. I modify in miniserv.conf my new ip , i /etc/webmin/stop and /etc/webmin/start . After i log in with root and password on https://serverip:10000 i recive this error: Error - Access denied for x.x.x.x for root

Webmin -> Disk Quotas. Disabled. When I try to enable quotas: Failed to open //aquota.user for writing : No such file or directory

I the root of my server I see this: lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 39 Feb 20 12:15 aquota.group -> /proc/vz/vzaquota/0000004d/aquota.group lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 38 Feb 20 12:15 aquota.user -> /proc/vz/vzaquota/0000004d/aquota.user

When I try to delete a mail account: Failed to delete users : setquota: Quota file not found or has wrong format. setquota: Not all specified mountpoints are using quota.

Re-loading Webmin ..
.. not currently running

The above is what I see when I create virtualservers as new domains or sub-domains.

Yet, I can always login to it fine.

On that count, Monit cannot see the webmin process either, yet there is a PID file with an ID and I can pgrep the id / name.

Thoughts why i keep getting the above "error" ?

I'm using Webmin to manage my Samba installation but it does not work as it should.

When I run testparam -s on the server it displays:

Load smb config file from /usr/PCBSD/local/etc/smb.conf.

When I try to edit that config file from Webmin it acts on the file:

Editing Samba configuration file /usr/local/etc/smb.conf and not /usr/PCBSD/local/etc/smb.conf.

How or where can that be changed in Webmin?

If i try to put webmin url to broser, it doesnt respond. Server is up and running. I have set that only my IP has acces to it, IP hasnt changed. What file do i need to edit to remove that so i can test if thats why it doesnt respond?

I am unable to access my server anymore after creating a certificate with Webmin CA manager. I'm able to ping the system by name or IP from the admin machine but Firefox is not able to reach the server. The server running, FreeBSD 7.2 stable is able to ping yahoo.com, etc. Is there a way to reset/remove the existing certificate so that I can try Firefox again.

Hi Since Webmin version 3.28 it is possible to select in the Virtualmin server template to add new users to a specific webmin group. So I have added this, but the user is not getting under the webmin group.

this is GPL version on a centos 5.4 x86_64 system
