Webmin

In Virtualmin server I can change apache default config template via "Directives and settings for new websites" section of Server Template. But I can't find where I can change default config template for Nginx server? In Plugin options I see empty list.

I already have Fail2Ban installed on my server but it is not listed as a module in Webmin. To add is I tried to install it through Webmin Modules.

When trying to install Fail2Ban through Modules I am being told that the install fails because fail2ban requires Webmin version 1.820 or above. I don't see that this version exist so I'm not sure where to go from here. Currently I am on version 1.810. Any suggestions?

/sysinfo.cgi shows "6 package updates are available"

"Software Package Updates" shows "No packages available to be updated were found."

Refreshing doesn't help.

My CSF module was updated to the latest CSF version(9.20) today and upon going to access the CSF module in Webmin, CSF shows for a second or two and then the browser is redirected to the busy circle icon.

Any info on this would be great. Thanks in advance!

Edit: I was able to quickly see the error that caused the redirection in Firebug and I believe it said something to do with: /unauthenticated/css/styles... I have the latest Authentic Theme 18.10

Hi! I've been using CentOS 6 for a while and iptables with it. Now I'm trying to set up a CentOS7 server and use firewalld for managing my firewall rules, but it doesn't seem to agree with Webmin really good... Has anybody had any experience with this? For example setting a firewall rule to enable a certain port for only a certain ip, through Webmin interface it doesn't seem to be possible? And when I add a rule for example to accept connections from a certain IP via console, I can see the new rule in the zone .xml file, but not in Webmin interface?

Helllo, I have a virtual server setup on my aws system running ubuntu. The domain for my server is pocketmyneed.com, everything was working fine until i ran the command do-release-update on my system and upgraded my OS from Ubuntu 14.04 to 16.04 Now as Ubuntu 16.04 uses php 7 i upgraded to that too. Now my Apache server is running perfectly allright, also when i recheck configuration on virtualmin it gives me no error. However when i try to access my domain pocketmyneed.com it just prompts me to download a random php file. Please help me solve the issue.

Let's say I have 1 domain called something.com, and 2 server, server A (root accessed, vmin-webmin); server B (shared hosting account on cPanel) which are located on different datacenters with a unique public ip each, and both have a working dns BIND server inside them.

I recently updated my system from 14.04 to ubuntu 16.04 Now after this update my apache would not start at all. After some research i found out 16.04 requires php 7. On installing php7 now apache has started working but my website just leads to random file downloads out of no where. It does not at all point to the desired location. Now my system is completely down. Please see if someone could help me out with this.
