Webmin

Hi,

Until now, i was backing up my system to a Debian based NAS using SSH, it has been working very well for about 3 years. Now, i installed a new FreeNAS NAS and i want to send backups to this new device.

I created a user with writing permissions over target directory and verified that i can write after login by SSH. I can create both directories and files without problems.

after that, i modified my webmin scheduled backups, I changed user and password, because IP is the same and test new configuration.

I get this error:

I want to change some lines in conf file but I received that error:

"Failed to save configuration file : Failed to replace /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/sitename.conf with /etc/nginx/sites-enabled/sitename.conf.webmintmp.54793 : Operation not permitted"

Then I tried to chane permission of this file from here: etc/nginx/sites-enabled

But this time: failed to change permissions 256

How can I edit this file?

Could one of the webmin.com admins please check the settings for the name servers.

I encounter problems when trying to access the website. Therefore I checked your DNS servers on intodns.com:

Pretty much what it says in the title. I have multiple publicly accessible VPS servers and a private, home server sitting behind a prosumer grade nat firewall. I've configured the home server to query the opensshd on each of my VPS using the "remote ssh" monitor type and, if it can reach an sshd login prompt, terminate and report success. I have "Login as User" left blank and "Login with Password" set to "Don't try to login".

I can't update any package. The error message is: WARNING: The following packages cannot be authenticated! "name of package" E: There are problems and -y was used without --force-yes

I usually use Command Shell to test new Fail2ban jails with Fail2ban-regex but today when trying to test a new jail I got the error

sh: 1: Fail2ban-regex: not found

So I tried testing a jail I am sure is working and got the same error. Has anyone got any idea what that message means?

hello - its been awhile since i posted a dumb question so i am entitled to one now.

i am receiving this message when i try to run 'check configuration':

Reproduced this many times. Authentic theme causing SSLv3 for server to server connections. Webmin/cloudmin host is Ubuntu 12.04 and remote system is Ubuntu 16.04. I have just switched to Authentic theme since I read somewhere its speed has been improved. And it is faster than before. But ran into issue. All but TLS1.2 is disabled on all my webmin configurations via, webmin, webmin configuration, SSL encryption.
