I have been trying to schedule a daily backup of all the virtual servers I have set up. I have entered the settings... but on accepting I get the following message:
Virtualmin's scheduled backup has been disabled
How do I enable the scheduled backup?

I've purchased, downloaded pro, got Ubuntu 7.1 server running, and whipped out my Administrator's Manual.
on a debian etch vserver
Im install a virtualmin but during the install im press CONTROL+C stopping the installation, after that, reinstall the virtualmin and continue good but some configurations not do. example: a dovcot, postfix, are installed but not configured.
Soo im want to see how virtualmin configure it(view the src code o something). how fix it ?
i have created a new virtual server to my domain by v.m. at first days (2-3) it only works with www. and donot work without it after these days every thing changes and it works without www and do not work with www. this is my zone file : can any one help me?
How do I set up Split DNS using Virtualmin? None of our websites are viewable on our internal LAN, but they work fine from outside our network. I've searched the net and think I need to set up Split DNS.
If that's the case, how do I do so with Virtualmin. If not, what do I need to do so our internal network can view our websites?

I installed Virtualmin the other day and everything was working fine. Today I find out the DNS is no longer running so I tried to restart it and got this:
"Failed to start service : Failed to start BIND : Starting named: Error in named configuration: /etc/named.conf:4: no matching 'forwarders' statement [FAILED]"
I can't even FIND the /etc/named.conf file -- it doesn't exist.
Hi all, /me is a new virtualmin user and I love it already. We're using usermin & webmin for a couple of years now and wanted to help our virtualhosters a bit.
I've got 2 questions.
I've read about the 16 username length limit. But why isn't it possible when adding a user to choose a username not related to emailaddress? Now every user is an emailadress and that's a bit lame sometimes. Now I have to add a username with email and directly an extra emailaddress to it.
Second problem; all users can't open their emailbox in Usermin/webmail because of this error:
Joe, I gave up on the FreeBSD because I couldn't get past a error in the setup. Spent all day building Centos5, got it running and have hit the same error. I must be overlooking something simple, but I cannot figure it our.

I recently bought Virtualmin Pro. The first time we loaded it we made a mess of it and nothing seemed to work, we tried all sorts of things and got some advice from here but we were getting all sorts of errors.
We did a clean install again and this time it installed bueatifully and have not had an error message, we are very pleased with the installation.
I have got everything setup but my DNS Server does not seem to be working. I have created a master Virtual Server and edited the records in Bind DNS and as far as I can tell it is all set up correctly.
I have a default webmin/virtualmin - latest version GPL setup. If anyone with ahotmail or msn account sends me an email it does not get into my box.
