Got a problem not covered by the docs? Don't know where to look in the docs or in the forums? All of the other forums over your head? If you're new to Virtualmin, this is the place for you.

I created a virtual server with mydomain.org.
I need the virtual server to also reply to mydomain.com and mydomain.net. How do I do this? Is there a way of adding other domain names to the virtual server, without having to edit the virtual hosts in apache and the dns zones manually?
Thank you
Hey Guys,
I had this working fine on CentOS and decided to try my favorite distro "Ubuntu Gutsy" and when I try to start virtualmin (GPL) I get the following error:
BIND DNS server is installed, and the system is configured to use it.
No virtual domains file was found in your Postfix configuration. Maybe no virtual domain map has been defined.
.. your system is not ready for use by Virtualmin.
I don't have a clue where or how to start looking to fix this error. Which file is the Virtual Map file for Postfix.
I have turned on bandwidth monitoring for a couple of virtual servers in Virtualmin, but it is not working. Both still show 0 bytes of usage, despite there being traffic on both domains. I really have no idea where to check to correct this problem. Any ideas on where to start?
Thanks, jeff
Hi,
I have problem.
internet -> main machine -> server ftp
I have forwarded 22 port to 21 on server ftp machine
I'm using AnalogX Port Mapper
When someone try to connect in active mode get error, passive mode - else.
What should i do:
I'm thinking i should open Passive Ports range ( 9980 - 9990 ) ( on linux ) Next, forward 9980 - 9990 -> to ftp machine and open 9980 - 9990 on firewall on main machine
This might seem like a silly question, but I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude of configurability in Virtualmin :) So I've poked around and tried to familiarize myself with it, skimmed through the manuals too...
One thing I noted is that if I log in as the server admin and create a new virtual domain (foo.com, with owner foo), I can go to "Edit Web Pages" and "Install Scripts" as the server admin...
Hey Guys,
Please accept my apologies if this is posted in the wrong place. But I have been playing with the VirtualMin and Webmin all day and all night. I am loving this so far. I did notice in the installs or better yet at the home page that all 3 would be best to have on one server. So I understand what webmin and virtualmin are for, but why would you need usermin?
Also I do plan to buy the unlimited VirtualMin because it has some really cool stuff in it. That would allow me to do what I am wanting ot do.
Hi,
I have question.
On my company i have master server Windows 2k3 ( now using IIS for web server).
I would like to move WWW and mail and ftp server to Centos 5 + Virtualmin GPL.
But i have problem, we still need IIS ( one domain using ASP.NET technology ).
It is possible to make something like this:

Hi, I have question, does Virtualmin GPL have instaled any antispam software for mailbox ?
regards
I'm planning on buying pro, but I have these questions:
1) By saying "10 domains or virtual servers", do you mean domains and virtual server combined or separate? (by separate, I mean you can have 10 domains and 10 virtual servers max)
2) Is this a yearly license? (Virtualmin 10)
Thanks.
