Today I found out that my usermin panel wasn't working. I don't know what happened, and I don't know where to search for the problem.

Virtualmin logins work, but when I try to login on usermin, it always returns to the login page, like if the user/pass is wrong...

Where can I look to search for possible problems?

I have an account at Sectorlink, whom I like, I really do, but there support database is very lacking, not that I usually need it, but when I do, it is pain.

well I can have 25 free sub domains on this account, so I created one.....it works, I can see the placeholder page (public_html directory blah blah....)

thing is, I cant find out where to set the index.htm file.

if I go into domains/(the sub domain) there is no public_html, and creating one doesn't help.

I am using Postfix for my mailserver.

I want to enable smtp authorization to force the user to login to send mail. so when they set up thier outlook profile they must enable the "my server requires authorization" to send email.

how do i set up smtp authorization for postfix?

hi, I was examining something in Webmin and suddenly, when I was inside Virtualmin looking at a server, Virtualmin disappeared from Webmin. I installed it again an nothing. When I enter in Apache, I only see a server (the one I was seeing when Virtualmin dissapeared), but apache's config files are still there. Bind also now shows that there's only a server, the same server I was seeing when... How can I fix this?.

I have been trying to get email working with virtualmin, but it has been difficult.

Emails sent to hotmail accounts were first rejected (my IP was listed at spamhaus, don't know why). then I was able to remove the IP, and saw that the server was not using ssl by default. So I created the necessary certificate files, included them in the config and now I have been able to send mails through the server to hotmail. The problem is that mails are being reported as electronic garbage in the hotmail account. Is there a way of avoiding this?

Anybody now how to get around this in "Virtualmin Package Updates" I can´t upgrade of this reason: No update exists from version 4.1.20-3.RHEL4.1.el4_6.1

I own three licenses of Pro: a 10 domain, a 50 domain and a third 10 domain. The first 10 domain and the 50 domain are being used commercially. The third I purchased for myself; for my blog.

Unfortunately, when I installed the new server at home tonight, I grabbed the wrong install script from the Serial Numbers page (I assumed newest would be on top, and didn't look closely at the dates).

I tried to update clamav via virtualmin and got an error, which isnt obvious from the message:

I just posted something that is bringing up an old post, so I'm reposting.

Basically, I just got my dedicated server installed, here's the installation error I got, any tips on how to resolve would be great (keys and hostname removed):
