Help! (Home for newbies)

I want to create multiple virtual servers for a handful of domains but Virtualmin creates a different user for each server which complicates stuff way too much. For instance, Wordpress won't write to disk so uploads aren't allowed unless it's over FTP/SFTP which would need to hunt down the credentials and paths for that.

I have a domain.com virtual server in virtualmin. For using IMAP in secure mode, I need a SSL certificate.

Since MX DNS register needs to be a subdomain, I created mx.domain.com

Now I'd need to add mx.domain.com to the SSL, so I tried to create a sub-virtual server (I also tried with an alias virtual server), with "mx.domain.com"

Now I go to the Manage SSL Certificates > Letsencrypt and I see both to request (domain.com and mx.domain.com)

But when I request it I see:

I am unable to backup to any S3 buckets located in us-east-1 or us-east-2. How do I add these regions to the S3 backup module?

We've got 2 servers as near to identical as possible both running

Webmin version 1.890 Usermin version 1.741 Virtualmin version 6.03 CentOS Linux 7.5.1804

It has been brought to our attention that HTTPS sites on one of the servers were not viewable on one of our clients networks, but on their mobile devices (and for us) they were fine (HTTP sites were fine everywhere)

After much head scratching it appears that the sites aren't displaying when being viewed where the the client has an IPv6 address (although this could be a red herring)

I just removed some virtual hosts and restored them from backup. I noticed that no matter what domain from the following i hit:

kidsclubpaidika.gr ypsilandio.gr varsa.gr

always my hit gets instantly redirected to domain kidsclubpaidika.grinstead.

Why is this happening? I use Webmin/virtualmin btw. here is my relevant httpd.conf https://pastebin.com/vzwbzTh8

Is it possible to automatically restart postfix and dovecot after the Let's Encrypt certificate is automatically updated?

Automatic Let's Encrypt updates work like a charm and are even copied to postfix and dovecot, but I still have to restart these services after the updates. The problem is that I only find out that a reboot is needed after mail users receive invalid certificates errors in their mail client.

I have a strange thing regarding my SMTP certificate on several clients). I configured my SSl certificate in VirtualMin and clicked on use in "Postfix", "SMTP", ...

I configure all required settings on my iPhone/iPad and when I click finish I receive a error message that a SSL connection is not possible. Then I save this configuration without SSL and open my mail program. I can see all mails from my account. Now I go back to the settings of this account and switch on SSL and everything (sending and receiving mails) is working as expected.

Hello everybody,

I recently decided to swap to Virtualmin for easier administration of my VPS server. My website is currently installed, just need to build some nice pages for it.

But; I am having trouble getting my email to work...

I have setup a Virtual server, with a domain name. The website is reachable through my own domain name. I added a user for emailing, this finishes without any errors. The newly made email account is able to receive emails, which I send from my work email for testing.

When I create a new site or add SSL to an existing site virtualmin is configuring websites virtualhosts with but should - How can I fix this? Is there a template that is wrong that I can edit?

Having a terrible experience getting virtualmin working right from the box. I installed it on an Ubuntu 18.04 LTS on a linode machine.

A static page and image shows up fine for a website, but PHP scripts are downloading with their code visible plainly.
