Hi there, I need your Help, please!

I am Using Virtualmin LEMP on ubuntu, I have installed Wordpress along with W3 total cache plugin,

Plugin W3totalcache is recommending to install and enable some Php extensions such as {Redis extension: Not installed HTML Tidy extension: Not installed }

Then I had installed these extensions, using regular commands i.e sudo apt-get install php-tidy etc.

Its late, im going to bed, my brain is simply too tired. I cannot for the life of me find where the disk space quota setting is for server templates? (i have found mail quota, however, the template i am editing will not have email enabled).

I have the problem that for some reason my password for the root user for Mysql doesn't work. I try it with phpMyAdmin but I keep getting "#1698 - Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost'". I reset my password inside Webmin but that didn't help.

I can login on my domain specific account with the same password. But that doesn't help when you want to create new domains.

I've been trying to install a VPN server but I can't get things to work. I've tried to restart the server and logging back in. I only get "The PoPToP PPTP server pptpd was not found on your system." Am I doing something wrong? This is the only module I've tried installing before.

Hi, I can successfully create Let's Encrypt SSL for domain.com and www.domain.com, while I have an external DNS Server.

Problem is that I can't get it for mail.domain.com or ftp.domain.com domain, because script is adding _acme-challenge.mail.domain.com in DNS and checking if it is there, but I have an external DNS server so it fail with error: mail.domain.com challenge did not pass: DNS problem: NXDOMAIN looking up TXT for _acme-challenge.mail.domain.com

Hello, Here is the thing, when I first setup my virtualmin, I placed one of my domains as the nameserver, now I no longer use that domain, so I want to change my name server to a new one or set it to be the ip address of the server.

How I access my webmin now:

1. server_ip_address:10000
2. server.my_old_domain.com:10000

When I check: sudo nano /etc/resolv.conf I get this:

what does this mean?

I cannot edit this file using google cloud ssh (as root) or in webmin when logged in as webmin admin.

In webmin>others>filemanager, its permissions are root:root 0644

in the past i have been easily able to edit this file. Have i made it immutable at some point? If so, how can I check this and also undo it?

Hi guys, i note that in Virtualmin>Server Configuration>Suggested DNS Records,

virtualmin is suggesting the localhost A Record

localhost.domain.com.au. IN A 127.0.0.1

In reading stack about this it appears to be a couple of trains of thought on whether or not it should be used. I post the following opposing views, and ask what you guys think?

Apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere, as I'm totally new here and to Virtualmin. I can't find the forum search!!

Anyway, I have no images at all in my newly minted Wordpress VirtualServer. I've tried modifying SiteURLs in wp-config, etc.... just can't get my head around it. Anybody seen this before?
