Help! (Home for newbies)

Have just set up a server with CentOS 5. Decided to transfer to a dedicated box after trying Virtualmin Pro on a VPS. The install script ran flawlessly.

Have been allocated a 5 IP block, the first IP being the server address and the IP that I used for ns1.mydomain.com

IP number2 was used to set up ns2.mydomain.com

The name server set up was done as follows:

• Applied the first 2 IP addresses at my registrar to reflect ns1 and ns2 for the domain child name servers

I have just got virtualmin up and running, so far so good, the only issue is email. For most of my customers I recommend Google Apps because of the interface, storage etc., however, I am a bit stuck on how to configure the following:

• I don't want email delivered to my VPS, (I guess this is solved by the MX records pointing at google), however it would be good to disable it anyway.

Virtualmin Package Updates

I was wondering if its better to do all the security updates manually or to just enable "Install security updates" under "Action when update needed"

Does anyone know of any issues when enabling this.

Hi all, can anyone tell me the steps needed to convert a CentOS server 4.6 to use PHP5 as the default on all web applications? Installing PHP5 is no problem, but I cannot seem to find a way to make it the one used by default.

Ok. So I posted a little blog about my frustrations with usermin and virtualmin and Joe warmingly invited me over here to get my problems solved. So here's my problem. Everything! No not really.

Ok I think I'm losing it. I can read all the threads but the one that Joe answered me on. I even tried different PC's on different domains.

Email on Gmail webpage on Virtualmin by STG

Email is being hosted by Gmail Webpage is on an ubuntu box with Virtualmin GPL

Online form emails to webinfo@domain.com it does not forward to the gmail account webinfo@domain.com. When I setup a user webinfo on the virtualmin box it works on the virtualmin box but doesn't get forwarded to Gmail.

Is there a way to accomplish this?

Sorry for my early post. Many thing i don't know how to use virtual min. Cause it very different from plesk and i don't know where to ask if Joe didn't answere me, cause all my friend not use virmin.

I want ask how to redirect/forward my friend domain in virmin. Example zzz.com want redirect/forward to xxx.com. I search for several day, but didn't find it. And can my friend cpanel website move to my virmin, how? Then how to make my smtp and pop3 not use mail.xxx.com, but smtp.xxx.com and pop3.xxx.com? And last thing how to make sub domain, example main.xxx.com?
