Help! (Home for newbies)

Hello everyone, We are having a problem with domain names not resolving with either www or without it. Some domains we have hosted work with it, others with out. Occasionally (which seems somewhat bizaar) they both work and there are no issues. This problem seems to have plagued all the domains on our server.

We have verified the domain names at various locations. This problem seems to be sporadic. We have virtualmin installed on a CentOS server as recommended. We have different domain name providers (i.e. GoDaddy, NameCheap, etc).

When a Virtual Server is created, the following DNS Records are created:

[code:1]@ IN NS ns1.dnsserver.com. example.com. IN A 192.168.1.2 www.example.com. IN A 192.168.1.2 ftp.example.com. IN A 192.168.1.2 m.example.com. IN A 192.168.1.2 mail.example.com. IN A 192.168.1.2 example.com. IN MX 5 mail.example.com.[/code:1]

I did look for this answer and exhausted all tires at it. I installed Joomla using the Script install; which works great love it and the upgrade feature; form 1.5.1 to 1.5.2 worked great; although I don't see 1.5.3 yet (hint).

Hello once again, I have Virtualmin runnig perfect for some time now, now i need a feature to add to my value of the software, I want to install a help ssoftware that translates customer emails into hep tickets *** HELPDESKPILOT *** but without the imap in php 5 or 4 will give me this error.....Installation of helpdeskpilot requires IMAP extensions to be enabled.....

i have an issue with awstats since the last virtualmin update last week

Now i get the following errors: [code:1] The AWstats command /usr/share/awstats/wwwroot/cgi-bin/awstats.pl was not found on your system. Check the module configuration to make sure it is using the correct paths.

The AWstats package can be automatically installed by Webmin. Click here to have it downloaded and installed using YUM. [/code:1] i try the YUM update and get nothing

I finally got virtualmin working - more or less.

First of all, there are two points missing in my virtualmin menu: "Install Scripts" and "Edit web pages"

How can that happen?

I've setup Virtualmin, it's running on IP address only. I'm completely lost about setting domain - to park any domain on server, I need nameservers, but how can I set them up :)

I've domain registered with GoDaddy, and I want it to be a nameserver, ex. ns1.DOMAIN.com, ns2.DOMAIN.com, is there any manual about this or can I get some step by step help?

Because of trojans that are infected my server, all of mails in the server infects and deleted and gone to /tmp/clamav.. directory. So how can i prevent this trojan infect all the mails. What must i do.

Please help. Most of the mail accounts down because of these.

i would like to run dns on one and use the other one to use dns from the other one how is this possible
