Help! (Home for newbies)

I am trying to display a under construction page on the main DNS and still save my work and continue working on it in the background. Once I am finished I want to obviously display my changes. But during the process the client does not want the website to be seen. Rather a under construction page instead.

How do I accomplish this?

Hello guys i am trying to remove mail reply from one of my mail account and i get this error

"" Failed to save mailbox : The additional email domain 'supporttech.its-brasi.net' is not managed by Virtualmin ""

when i added a domain i made a mistake supporttech.its-brasi.net so i renamed it to supporttech.its-brasil.net

now i can not remove mail reply

Using Virtualmin Pro

I have been trying to get IP allocation to work with no luck. I have an IP block of 16. I have 4 hosting server templates called starter, silver, gold and platinum. In each server template, I configured "Virtual IP Address" from "None" to "Listed Below" and specified my range.

Then, I went into "Networking -> Network Configuration" and added an IP range to eth0 as well.

Seems like the my only security hole left to plug is ftp. How do I set Vmin to only allow SFTP connections?

I know I saw it somewhere...

If I am logged in to Vmin as the vhost user, where do I go to create a new database and add the username and password for it? I can see an area in Webmin called "Edit Database" but there arent many options there.

Is it possible that my template or module config is not allowing the users to manage mysql?

I have recreated my virtual servers many times and fooled with the raw apache configuration files to the best of my knowledge and cannot for the life of me figure out why I cannot access my servers from external domains.

Oddly, when I select "Setup SSL website too?" I am able to access files via https:// but not http://.

If anyone has experienced similar problems or knows what may be wrong, I would love to hear from you.

Seems like Webmin keeps thinking the Qmail server is not intalled even though it is installed

"The QMail base directory /var/qmail does not exist. Maybe QMail is not installed, or your module configuration is incorrect."

Now I did reinstall the module again just to make sure but I get the same error.
Any Ideas? thanks

I finally got my servers root domain to resolve :) but now when i go to www.mydomain.com it does not come up but when i go to just mydomain.com it does come up. So how do I enable www ?

Hey, first off, I'll tell you my system.

Operating system: CentOS Linux 4.6 Webmin version: 1.420 Virtualmin version: 3.57.gpl (GPL) Running Dovecot 0.99.11

I'm not really sure if this has been going on since I set up the system some months back, or if I changed something at one point that caused it to mess up.

Here's the problem. If I set up a mail user under a virtual server in Virtualmin, I can't log in to dovecot through pop3 or imap to get the mail. It works for the main user account on the virtual server, but not for created users under it.
