Hi there,
not exactly a virtualmin issue, but maybe some of you came aross the same and know more. Today I discovered that clamd is using 100% cpu. That wasn't the case some days or weeks ago when I looked at it the last time. Is that maybe due to a bug (updated the system several times)?
Any help would be appreciated...
I was able to create Server Owners who only had limited access but now I am not able to.
When I create a domain, the domain admin has full rights, NOT GOOD!
When I try to edit the "admin" I get: This webmin user should not be edited as it is managed by the Virtualmin Virtual Servers module. Yet I cannot find a way to edit the "Administrator username" listed in edit virtual user.
What is the correct way to create and/or edit a Virtual server administrator??????
I have a new dedicated server running CentOS with Webmin installed by my ISP. I installed then upgraded Virtualminpro 3.58.
I have set up a domain and want to put Joomla on it.
Problem: I click on Install Scripts > Joomla. I get the following message:
"This script cannot be installed, as it requires PHP version 4 or 5."
PHP is installed already, yes? otherwise nothing would run? Is that right?
I was curious about some of the Features and Plugins, so I tried to enable Administrator's Notes and Analytics Tracking. There is no documentation (via Search) on these features. In both cases, I got the message:

It seems to me that Virtualmin is about managing domains. However, we manage customers. And, one of their assets includes domains. But it also include lots of other things (like design orders, and more).
When I get a new customer, we create an account for them. We get their phone numbers, postal addresses, e-mail and fax addresses, a list of contacts who are authorized to talk with us over the phone and ask for changes (if they know the PIN code), and so on.
Can anyone give me any quick pointers on how the Virtualmin template can be private branded? I'd like to add/change a number of things:[ul][li]add header, graphics[/li][li]Change menu names - for example, changing "Create Virtual Server" to "Create Domain"[/li][li]Adding new menu items - for example, adding a menu link to eTicket[/li][/ul]I'd also be interested in how other people private brand their Virtualmin user and reseller interfaces.

since i am very new so i will be picking up your brain alot.
I know this is very good product but it is only good if it is configured right. i was using gpl virtualmin and made some stupid mistake some where and my server got hacked now help me to keep our server safe.
am commissioning a ServerBeach self-managed 64-bit x86 box.
its primary role in life is to serve 3 web domains using Apache, PHP and MySQL; two of the domains include SSL-secured shopping carts. in the near term, it will have to handle email services, though I eventually hope to hand that off to Google.
minutes from now, it will have a fresh reload of a RHEL5-without-Plesk image, on a virgin-formatted drive.
