Error trying to restore a domain from a backup
I am getting this error when I try to restore a backup from my old server which whas FedoraCore 7 to new server running CentOS 5

Restore failed : The specified source does not contain any domains, or is not a Virtualmin backup

I can unzip the file and seems that all files are there but virtual min refuse to read it ?

Both systems are running Virtualmin 3.59 and are fully updated.

Hi people, I'm still a raw newbie years later as I've never got my Server and Vmin/Wmin to work together. I'm still working with THAT other interface on Shared Servers .. :-(
I'd like to determine the main source of my problems and a good example set of them is:

1. Suddenly I can't login to my Server. I get a security warning from Webmin. Nothing was changed:

Cannot Complete Request fablor.net:10000 uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not trusted because it is self signed. (Error code: sec_error_untrusted_issuer)

I'm having this problem.

I'm on CentOS 5.2 Postfix Dovecote IMAP/POP3

When sending email through gmail, I get this error:

The install starts out fine, but then I get this:

I'm on CentOS 5. How can I get around this?

I am trying to use the migration wizard in Virtualmin to migrate my website from plesk.

I keep getting this error: Validating migration file .. .. validation failed : XML::Simple Perl module is not installed

I have tried to install this from the command line, but this is what I get:

I have a box with Centos 5.2 and Virtualmin GPL in a near default configuration. I have added one hosted site, www.choked.ca. The nameservers are ns1.bcwebinc.com and ns2.bcwebinc.com. After a conversation today with my registrar the appropriate records for web pages and email were set to ip address 142.179.54.37.

My Virtualmin install suddenly started throwing a

Permission denied

error every 5 minutes when it runs the /usr/local/etc/webmin/virtual-server/collectinfo.pl via cron job.

I also get the error running it directly (as root) from the command line.

Any idea what could cause this? It gives me no more info than "Permission denied".

Which are the steps to make a .htaccess file to work... the file was working on the previous server (has some rewrite rules in it) but I can't make it work in virtualmin pro.

can I remove the sheel of www-data without blocking everything ? May I change its password ? If I have to change its password, it won't block somewhere ?

I couldn't find on google how can I setup apache to handle these requests (pointing to the same location). Is there a certain place where to set a certain rule or should I get into the apache config files and alter them manually? Thanks.
