Is there anyone else getting false possitives in SpamAssasin scores?
It looks like securitysage.com no longer exists! I had to manually comment out the test against blackhole.securitysage.com in SpamAssassins dnsbl_tests file because all recieved mail on our server got 2 added to the spam score by this test.
I have read some articles on this issue and most people recommend that you should stop using this blacklist immediately and permanently. And even if they do get online again, they don't have a good track record of staying online.
hi all, just would like to ask about my problem;
we have 50K users on an old email server using postfix and using mysql for its authentication. I would like to migrate it on our new mail server which has virtualmin/webmin so far we're ok with domains which has 10-100 users using the virtual file but I doubt it for a domain with 50K users.
what would be a sound solution to migrate 50K users for a single domain, on the same server. Am considering putting it on the virtualserver's Mysql DB.

I have migrated a few servers now and a few of them have been for my customer that is used to using rvsitebuilder and decided that they could work with the web page edit inbuilt website builder.
On these accounts that are migrated the pages don't show up in the Web Page Edit section. Is there something I am doing wrong or don't files from migrated cPanel servers show here. I am wondering what I can do to help this customer.
If this isn't going to work does anyone have any ideas as to what website builder I could suggest.

I just made the decision of update a webmin/usermin/virtualmin to the virtualmin gpl , and the problems started...
I had to remove postfix so that the email from the domains don't get lost... but i am whit this problems :
I can't get Read Mail to parse de files in the ~/mail dir, so no other features can work whit the folders files... (ex: spam, clam etc...) (Inbox under /var/mail, folders in ~/mail)
Dovecot is working properly and opens all the files correctly ...
What am i missing ?

I have now come across another issue - not with virtualmin but more what my customers want.
I have a customer that has 50 domains with me at the moment and is looking to move to my server another 25 or so. At the moment this customer uses cPanel and likes using RVSitebuilder. I know that only works with cPanel - is there an alternative that I can use with virtualmin that is comparable. I have had a look at weebly - is that the same thing?
Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

I had no problems creating the domain owner and adding sub domains. The ftp access for the domain owner works fine, but when I add a New User or FTP user for website, the access from proftpd is denied.
I read somewhere that it might be the shells, but they are all present in /etc/shells
Anything else it could be? This is diriving me crazy because I don't want to create an admin for each domain.

I have a quick question about the setup of VirtualMin domains. I have the main server which has the FQDN of pdx.willamettedata.com. I've been wondering if it is necessary to put the main server domain into a virtual server or should I leave it seperate from the other domains I host.
Currently I have it setup as a virtual server but I noticed that some things don't work right when I do this. Such as I do not get mail for the root user and all my daily logwatch reports are being flagged as spam.
Is it possible to creating a mailing list name with an underscore?
eg. abc_support
I get this error:
[code:1]Failed to create mailing list : [/code:1]

I managed to manually create a list with an underscore in terminal.
[code:1]/usr/lib/mailman/bin/newlist --urlhost=www.mydom.ain --emailhost=mydom.ain my_list[/code:1]
However, it's didn't integrate with virtualmain.
Help?
I tried to install postfix and then my sidebar got screwed up on the Virtualmin sidebar only. I cant figure out how to fix it.
Any help?
