Hi there. Need to setup this week a fresh box with webmin, virtualmin and OMV. On one hand my client wishes to develop some websites on the box and on the otherhand he wants to store his data on the same box. for this pourpuse he wants to add 3 hard disks. 1 hard disk (1 TB) for web development and 2 x 2TB hd to store his data and be managed by OMV (latsest stable build). So now I have a doubt:
UPDATE: Problem solved. It took a while for the DNS changes to propagate.

Hi Team, I'm in a pickle. There were a lot of Virtualmin updates that I had not installed so I did them all yesterday. Initially everything seemed fine but some hours later I realised email was no longer working. There was one new update in the notifications so I installed that too and then rebooted to see if email would come back. Unfortunately the server will not boot at all now :( I am able to access the server using Rescue 64 to boot - provided by my host OVH.
Hello, While I fully recognize the difference between a package manager and Virtualmin, is there any reason for me to be concerned with my server's usage of PHP Pear Modules due to this: http://blog.pear.php.net/

Any help for DNS? Error: One or more of your nameservers did not return any of your NS records. I just installed a new VM router, so the network has been changed. Also, in Virtualmin DNS Records, the following error: Warning - errors were found in this domain's DNS records : NS record ns2.domain.tld. cannot be resolved to an IP address
I've run through Virtulamin and Webmin and think the setting for the DNS is a few cases, point to the new VM router at 192.168.1.170. Might be the issue, but not sure. Most of the DNS point to the public WAN IP.
I've created user in Webmin, limited access only to Virtual Server module and I've set Can edit existing domains? To NO in settings for Virtual Server module.
But when I log into Webmin as user only for creating domains I can delete any previously created domain.
I need to have a user only for domain creation due to security reasons as I am creating domains from within WordPress PHP website and there is user/pass stored - so in case of an attack I won't loose all my domains.

When I install Phpmyadmin script, virtualmin allows me to select database to manage with that script. However, later I create a new database not by using phpmyadmin, then how can I see it inside phpmyadmin? How can I assign a new created database to old phpmyadmin script? Thank you
Im using Ubuntu 18.04, before installing Virtualmin i have installaed MariaDB which started fine. After installing Virtualmin it broke my MariaDB installation and i cant even start it!
What's going on? I was informed Virtualmin works with both MYSQL and MARIADB and now doesnt work?

Im back using Virtualmin after a good few years of having my own server online. I have virtualmin running on a dedicated IP address, I have also setup slave DNS in another location with another IP address and everything works as it should.
my main domain for the sake of this conversation we shall call it mydomain.com is working I can access from outside my LAN and inside my LAN.
If i create a new domain mydomain2.com, all records are setup, DNS is sent to slave and i confirm everything is running with a quick check with intodns.
