I'm planning to provision a new VPS plan with a LEMP Nginx stack.

Can I make a backup of the current virtual servers on my LAMP Virtualmin VPS and restore them to the new LEMP VPS?

I have two installations of VM. In the Dashboard of one I have an 'IP Address Allocation' accordion but not in the other.

Is there a setting to toggle the display of this feature? Have looked in Authentic theme config to no avail.

Hello virtualmin users,

I have installed gogs on my server. Now I can type in my server's local ip with port 3000 and the gogs web service is displayed.

I have setup a subdomain on virtualmin (git.mydomain.com) and I want to be able to visit this subdomain and have it load my gogs web page.

Can this be done? Is anyone able to offer some advice as to how I would configure the subdomain in this fashion?

is there a limit in the number of ssl domains i can host in the same server with virtualmin (open source)?

I installed GLPI on a subdomain, the GLPI folder points to /home/domain /subdomain/public_html/glpi but when I try to access it by writing http://monip/glpi it opens this page:

Forbidden You do not have permission to access /index.php on this server.

I put all granted and allow from all almost everywhere in httpd.conf and changed the permissions to 777 but the problem is still there. Do you have a solution please? thank you it's really urgent...

I try to install the SQLite plugin but ... I receive the following error:

Failed to save enabled features : The plugin SQLite Databases cannot be used : The command sqlite needed to create SQLite databases is not installed.

Can you help me with this error?

After days of researching nothing helped me and i decided to post my problem here.

I have migrated a website from Cpanel By downloading a full backup and migrate it from its section in Virtualmin... it is a Wordpress site.

First i have a 500 Internal server problem i went to Edit the website configuration and changed the PHP script execution mode to FPM; it is the only one who made my website is running.

Later i wanted to active Apache SSL from Edit virtual server to add it later in Let's Encrypt but it was a permission denied problem for 2 files :

I see that SSL's can be requested from server configuration -> SSL certificates -> lets encrypt -> request certificate. This all works great. I would like to know if there is a way for Virtualmin to automatically request certificates for newly added domains (I am not talking about renewals, I am talking about when adding a new domain, a certificate should be requested automatically ). Is there a command (a Virtualmin command) I can issue with a cron or with a script? Or some configuration file to enable requesting SSL's when new domains are added?

I have some simple questions.

I have opened a VPS instance on VULTR.com where there is an opetion to get a pre-installed webmin instance - so for sake of testing and time saving i thought i would try it.

After a short time I have accessed the installed server and then I saw that the instance has only webmin, and not virtualmin,

I then installed the Apache RPM through the interface just for testing and all seems to worked just fine .
