Hi,

I just fallowed the instructions on this page https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/web/multiplephp to install php 7.

Its only saying to install the packages rh-php70 rh-php70-php-mysqlnd. I was wandering what the normal common packages list is for php 7.0.10 as im getting many packages missing when ruining apps.

Having a install code for the common packages would be nice.

I was working with a website on a server that I set up by using Webmin only.

This allowed me to host files on a virtual server in the root directory.

To repair a problem with ftp, I set up the site with Virtualmin — because why not?: virtual host, virtual admin — makes sense, right? :-)

To make a long story short, all of my addresses immediately began serving up 403 Forbidden errors.

Which error log should I use to accurately troubleshoot this? (Do I merely make a change to "Edit Directives" to fix this?)

Hi all,

When I add a user to my virtual server domain i created in Virtualmin via "Edit Users" and try to login in via thunderbird to test the account it will not log in saying wrong user/pass.

When I create an account (adduser xyz) from the root terminal of my vps - and added the email account in thunderbird it logs in and works fine. Am I missing some priveladge option somewhere?

I logged in as the root user into virtualmin login.

I am having a problem migrating my existing VMs using Cloudmin. I add existing KVM instance, and put in the IP that I gave the VM on the bridge interface. I am getting a connection refused on SSH when it tries to add it. I tried enabling routing, but that didn't seem to make any difference. Can someone please help me figure out what's going on? I'd really like to get to using this software.

Hi guys, i have followed along with youtube video on installing virtualmin, and have set it up on an ubuntu server on Google Cloud Compute.

I am unable to login using the ipaddress:10000 as outlined in video. Error below:

Like some others, I am having trouble getting ProFTPD to start. I have run through the forums to see if I can't find a solution to tag onto, and realized it would likely be a more organized approach to start a new thread.

My suspicion, though I hope this is not misleading, is that a previous install of vsftpd is conflicting with ProFTPD. I have removed the connection between vsFTPD and port 21, but I still get no love with the ProFTPD connection.

I'm trying to set up a virtualmin managed server. This is my setup: A hyper-v machine running a clean Ubuntu 16.04 server edition (so without gui) with just openssh server installed (Updated and upgraded!), running on a windows server 2012 r2 physical machine. I've issued a fixed local ip in my asus webrouter to the hyper v machine. Ports 80 and 443 are already forwarded to the ip, should I forward port 10000 too? Any others, I already know about 21 ftp, 22 ssh, 25 smtp and a port for imax?

I noticed webalizer had stopped reporting on march 19, so thought it had a problem. Looking into it I found out the access log files have not been 'updated' with valid results since march 19. (of all 'servers')

There is a access_log file for every server, made today at 06:26 (few hours ago) but it's just 0 kb.

What do I do to get it working again?

I tried searching this forum and googling, and I will continue doing so, but haven't found anything yet so thought I'd scream for help here too. ;)
