Help! (Home for newbies)

I have a LetEncrypt Certificate enabled using the excellent tool provided within VirtualMin:

Server Configuration / Manage SSL Certificate / Let's Encrypt

It works perfectly for those domains which it lists in "Domains associated with this server":

But I still have issues with important subdomains of the site, including "mail":

I have a fresh and updated install of Ubuntu 18.04.1 and want to set up VM GPL for testing and eventual use. I know the domain name I'll eventually use but not for several months yet. I think I could use the eventual domain name as FQDN but can see lotsa issues with mail and updates etc. Or I've thought about just using xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx since I have a static external IP. Anyone have experience or advice on this?

I accidentally got blocked while attempting to log into my hosting via SSH. From my IP address, my website, webmin, SSH are all inaccessible now. Using VPN, I can access Webmin panel, but I can't find where I can unblock my IP. I have searched on this forum and elsewhere but nothing worked so far.

What I attempted:

Tried: Access the folder "etc/webmin/" and right-click to open the file "miniserv.conf" to edit the IP address banned from the website. No "deny" record found in file.

Tried: Access /var/webmin/blocked and delete banned IP. The file is empty.

if I try first the GPL version and want to upgrade to the Paid version, will I have some differences in the software installation [installer script]

Is it easy to upgrade to the Pro version, for example do I need to run a script or so?

Will I keep all my settings I have configured or will many reset back to defaults?

Will I be able to use PayPal connected with my bank card, as my bank will charge huge cost for overseas payments?

Is it easy to revert later in time back to GPL?

I would like to remove the apache directive ServerAlias mail.${DOM} from all existing virtual hosts as well as the server templates in order to prevent duplicate content. Can I do that or will this change break something?

Running CentOS7, webmin suddenly stopped working after an update a few days ago. Can someone please help me debug?!

[root@admin /]# /etc/init.d/webmin start

Hello together!

I installed Virtualmin a few days ago so I can host a few websites of some friends of mine. My virtual host list looks like this:

I've installed owncloud and they recommend using something other than sqlite for a database. I've already heard of and used MariaDB in the past, however had someone else set it up for me. The point of this is to learn, without breaking things along the way. I know how to download and save the .sql backups for future upload. But how do I tell virtualmin and my server (Centos 7), to use MariaDB instead.

I'm great at using the functions, but lack the experience to know where to go to make changes to how the server functions.
