Help! (Home for newbies)

Once every week (mostly on weekends) nginx suddenly stops. Mostly early in the morning and weekend. If I start it manually everything is working fine. Nginx -t return no errors too. The following is the final message of error I get:

ns1 systemd[1]: nginx.service start request repeated too quickly, refusing to start.

ns1 systemd[1]: Failed to start A high performance web server and a reverse proxy server.

ns1 systemd[1]: Unit nginx.service entered failed state.

I've just upgraded phpmyadmin to v4.6.0 but cannot now access it through my browser, in the error log I get

mod_fcgid: stderr: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function __() in /home/myfolder/public_html/phpmyadmin/libraries/sanitizing.lib.php on line 135

line 135 reads:

Okay, So I am moving servers at the moment. It's a bit of a tricky case, because of one particular site, first all the subdomains have to be moved, and only later the main domain. But all the subdomains are made as sub-servers, so no problem right? On the new host I created a new server for the main domain (example.com, user example, just like on the old host) and started to import backups from the old server. During the creation of the main domain, I might have forgotten to enable MYSQL.

Hi there. I think I made a mistake when installing a certificate on the server.

When I try and access webmin now, it says I cannot continue.

Can I remove this certificate or anything to get back to the self signed one that was there before?

i would to require smtp authectication for my users when connecting smtp server from email clients. I have other server configured this way but don't remember if i had to do something to get this working. Now, i have to uncheck "this server requires auth for outgoing server (stmp) to work". I have checked sasl aut "require sasl smtp authentication" in postfix config and "use sasl smtp authectication" but i can connect to server without auth...

Any suggestions? Thanks.

I'm trying to install nginx on my virtualmin server.I wonder that why i should uncheck these features and what are they provide.

I have a virtual server that I have configured and restored a wordpress backup (taken from a shared server).

To get it to work, the php execution mode has to be in mod_php.

If I set it to CGI or FCGId, when accessing the website, it just downloads a file.

By having this set to mod_php, although the website works, I get some issues when writing changes via the admin area, where permission is denied.

I think because its running as the apache user, and not the virtual server user, who is the owner of the files and folders.

Can anyone help please?

I have a fresh CentOS/Webmin/Virtualmin install and it seems it will not send any external email but will only delivery to local users. I've tested with the send email form in webmin settings and watched in the mail log. I've no idea what I need to change to get this working. Tried sending to some of my normal emails as well as gmail address.

Is there any support with Virtualmin Pro subscription or is that extra?
