I have two VH up one is empty site, one line of text.The other is a static one page php.

I disabled all the email services. Here are the output of ram processes listed by usage.

Should there be a PHP-FPM option in Virtualmin > Server Configuration > Website Options?

Running a config check I get

PHP-FPM support was not detected : No FPM configuration directory found

From what I've read I gather Virtualmin has PHP-FPM support (unless it's just the pro version), if it should be there how do I install it?

Hello I am worried about Letsencrypt's 90 day expiration constraint for use with Dovecot. More precisely I am worried that my end users will have to deal with certificate changes every 3 months in their devices.

On dovecot, after replacing my existing cert with a letsencrypt one, I had the following experiences:

Thunderbird fired a popup to accept the new cert for both imap&smtp, and it worked. Android GMail app was same as Thunderbird. IPhone7 would no longer give an option to accept a new cert, had to delete the account & recreate.

Hello when creating this VPS with webmin i decided ill disable all the email services and not use this server for email hosting so i did a minimum install, But i don't know where to start looking for what i want to do now, I currently have a contact forum on my website nigix server (port 25blocked btw from host), i need to hook it up to send an email to/from my gmail account(i am open to other options) , I was wondering can someone lead me to the right direction? or is SMTP a must?

So a few hours after posting I found this recent post: https://www.virtualmin.com/node/57240 The original poster is running Ubuntu 18.04 LTS just like me and the solution offered by siwuch seems to work properly for me.

SOLUTION

In "/etc/apache2/mods-enabled/php.conf" (replace php with your filename, depending on the php version you're using - in my case it was php7.2.conf) comment out the following two lines:

SetHandler application/x-httpd-php

Hello. I have installed VirtualminGPL I tried to install two factor authentication - Google Authenticator.

But I received this error: Failed to save two-factor authentication : The Perl module Authen::OATH needed for two-factor authentication is not installed. Use the Perl Modules page in Webmin to install it.

I continued the link Perl Modules in the above message. The installation failed but it downloaded the file and I installed later.

I installed the module:

Install Module
Making and installing Authen::OATH ..

Untarring module file

I have turned on the option under Virtualmin settings but it doesn't seem to be working.

I am using Nginx instead of Apache.

i see some post about 301 redirection but the way webmin sets up everything in one block its hard to read.

I am not sure what i did but

i an using nginxi have check nginx.conf and peterwebsolutions.com.conf, and i dont see any redirection.

EDIT: i ended up just deleting the vhost and remaking it

So I'm very new to Virualmin, and am having a problem.

I've been able to get SSL certificates from Let's Encrypt and with some trouble have been able to get it to work for the web server (It was a pain getting the ones for Webmin to work), but for the life of my I can't get my email clients to connect to the server and I think it's due to an SSL issue.
