Got a problem not covered by the docs? Don't know where to look in the docs or in the forums? All of the other forums over your head? If you're new to Virtualmin, this is the place for you.
Here is the log:
All,
When I visit Virtualmin->Server Configuration->Manage SSL Certificates, I am informed that "This SSL certificate is already being used by : Postfix, Usermin, Webmin, Dovecot"
When I look at httpd.conf, postfix.cert.pem, and /etc/pki/dovecot/certs/dovecot.pem, I see that the first points to the security certificate I installed and the latter two are exact copies of the security certificate I installed. All of this makes perfectly good sense.
Hi
What I am trying to acheive is the following. Multiple sites with each site getting it's own physical machine/hardware. I have installed webmin and virtualmin on each server "four of so far" each with there own domain e.g serverone.domain.tld, servertwo.domain.tld and so on. My router is set to send all http trafic to server one. The question is how do I tell server one that the domain name that is wanted is actualy on say server two and to foward the request there.
I use to install Vistualmin / Webmin but my webscript looks fine working in Webmin (root) so I don't create new server in Virtualmin and use Webmin (root) for my webscript under /var/www/html
, but now the problem arise when I want 2/3 incoming outgoing mailbox for my webscript.
M using CenOS 6 32bit, suppose my ip is 111.222.333.444 and my domain in abcd.com
I used following list of commands form 'http://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/id,centos_5_install/' for install and update Webmin in my VPS.
I may have lost my mind here but we ran standard updates in virtualmin and it updated the webmin package to 1.675-1. At that point we got errors in the Named server that it would not start. When clicking on the named server to see the hosts we were prompted with 3 options essentially asking how we want to setup the config. Unfortunately I did not write these down but we did not want to commit to any in fear it would wipe out all of the zone files we currently had in place and mess with the config.
First of all hi to everyone and grats for this great free platform.
I have a vps of latest CentOS 64bit, latest virtualmin, 3-core XEON 3,2GHz, 1GB RAM, 1GB swap, 80gb hdd used to host php websites along with their dns, mysql db and email.
All those websites are of low load but most of them use joomla/wordpress/opencart and only 3 out of 24 are static.
I have stopped & disabled MailMan and PostgreSQL as i don't use them and i have also changed my apache MPM configuration to:
Hello
I'm noob in this forum and don't have any experience of work with webmin/virtualmin (i move from kloxo). So my question is
Is there any option to run Wemin with php5.2 version, as default i got php5.1 version after wembin installation, but some of my sites work properly > Php5.2 and <php5.3.
So can you advice how can i update to php5.2.7 (prefered version). Each time i try to run "yum update php" i got php5.4, and cann't downgrade after this.
Any advice will be appreciated !!!
thx
I am looking for advice on a set-up which would permit the following, if possible. For clarity, I am running a dedicated physical server (live) running Virtualmin with each Virtualmin server hosting a Drupal installation. I use Google apps for email on each of the Drupal installations, with the users created manually in Google Apps. I also run the DNS Server for each of the Domains.
I would like to set-up a system which allows me to:
○ Keep Google Apps receiving mail (incoming mail server?)
Hello,
recently, I have noticed all mail to gmail (and other google affiliated mail) does not arrive and comes back with an undeliverable:
When I open Outlook, it pops up the "The server you are connected to is using a security certificate that cannot be verified." warning. When I click 'View Certificate', the one shown is issued by example.com. This is obviously some type of default, but I am not sure why I am seeing that.
