Help! (Home for newbies)

I have two servers:
Server1 is a simple Master Server where into DNS I have created domains and subdomains.
For example:
* my-domain.tld
* webmail.my-domain.tld
* ftp.my-domain.tld
* crm.my-domain.tld

Server2 is the real application server where I will have the users applications and webmail.

If I try to create a Virtual Server in Server2, for example always my-domain.tld (to be able to then install in this an application) , an error is returned to me because the domain already exists.

I'm stuck at what I first thought to be a simple task: - I've created a dedicated virtual server to host the GitLab application: git.mydomain.com - I now want to install the GitLab package on this virtual server, so I can access it through https://git.mydomain.com.

Hi, been searching for a while and I have found some other people with these same problems but no fix yet:

First problem I have is that the disable feature has no documentation, so when I try to use it this is what I get:

# sh install.sh --disable fail2ban
Unknown feature fail2ban: exiting

Couldn't find a working list of features to be disabled either so this doesn't seem to solve the problem with fail2ban nor Firewalld, which is why I'm posting.

I tried to change the password with UI & the bash command

/usr/libexec/webmin/changepass.pl /etc/webmin root password

but still not able to login. I'm able to login into the server.

Good day you guys, came here trying to find where I missed a configuration or a module.

I have 2 VPSs, 1 running CentOS 7, the other running Ubuntu 16.04. I've got "Edit Proxy Website" already on my CentOS but I really don't exactly remember when or how I've enabled the feature. And it's working wonderfully. Mind you, I am not able to install Squid proxy on that machine. VirtualMin does offer to have it installed and configured for me but when I proceed it throws error.

I've been using Virtualmin for years now, and ever since around 2016 FTP will not function and this has happened on 9 servers so far.

Recently I had to relaunch a site that needs FTP to function, SFTP is not an option to it sadly and this is getting really frustrating as I've spent the past day trying fixes and nothing will work.

Does anybody have any idea? I've checked numerous threads here, trying random fixes/tweaks FTP is installed, it's port appears to be open too but no clients connect. I've tried all the simple things like changing active/passive and so on.

I have a Virtualmin installation that was happily running Ubuntu 14.04 with PHP 5.2.xx until tonight. Tried to update to 16.04 in hopes of getting the new PHP version. I'm now unable to load any PHP sites on any of my 4 active domains.

On 3 out of the 4 domains I am getting the following errors:

On my server, I'm running Serviio DLNA media server which has two components. 1. The media server management, and 2. the media browser.

Each listens on a different port. So, if I want to access it, I have to enter: https://mydomain.com:port_number

I have a self-hosted ubuntu server and I am attempting to set it up for my dads self-employed business. I have managed to setup WordPress for the main domain of colemanhoskin.co.uk. I have then created a sub-server of invoice.colemanhoskin.co.uk my intention is to us invoiceplane which is installed correctly in the subdomain root folder. The issue I am facing is when I try to navigate to invoice.colemanhoskin.co.uk/index.php/setup I end up getting sent to in the internal IP address of my server on 19291168.1.41/index.php./welcome.
