Hi,

I am using Virtualmin and having 30 domains hosted over there. When i am trying to disable one domain whole domains are being disabled. I am using Virtual 4.8 Please help me how to resolve the issue.

Hi All, I have been using VirtualMin on a dedicated server for a good few months now, and think I've pretty much grasped it all with regards to virtual servers for web sites.

I haven't attempted to use it for emails just yet, but I will be doing.

I was wondering if it was possible to also use the server as a file server somehow?

Is this possible? And can anybody provide documentation for it?

Just a mild SSL CA question. I upgraded to Python 2.7.*, then installed the LE software from Github, and (after a few attempts) installed SSL on one domain with success.

But, doh, then I saw Virtualmin has a LE function. There is no way back now to use Virtualmin to get LE SSL work with other domains on the saver/IP. right?

The message I get is:

request failed : The native Let's Encrypt client was used previously on this system, and must be used for all future certificate requests

PS: Let's Encrypt is a really nice service!

Thank you for creating a powerful open source control panel that can run NGINX & PHP 7. This is my first attempt to adopt NGINX, PHP 7 & Virtualmin for production.

I have created an AMI configured with CentOS 7, NGINX, PHP 7 + Virtualmin with appropriate hostname & website.

For testing, when I launch a new instance from the AMI & then login to Virtualmin, it always asks to update IP address. In autoscaling how can new instances automatically update its IP's?

So I Installed VirtualMin on a fresh VPS. I go through the Post Install Wizard and when I'm prompted to set a MySQL password, I type a new password in and it says, "DBI connect failed : Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)". I've reinstalled 3 times and nothing same error. Any help would be amazing! :)

I have a question about CPU load that is showing on the system information page. My system is showing about 66% CPU load on the system information page but going to Running Process, it's showing CPU load averages: 0.23 (1 mins) , 0.31 (5 mins) , 0.28 (15 mins) CPU type: Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2620 v2 @ 2.10GHz , 12 cores

From my understanding, the load average is below one that means it's not even using 1 core of the CPU fully. Can someone please explain how to read the number correctly? Thank you~

I did the upgrade today to Webmin version 1.800 on CentOS 6.7 i686 with PHP7installed

Webmin works, I can go to servers etc. But the info screen ain't working. Instead I get this message:

I've recently installed Virtualmin on a fresh Ubuntu 16.04 VM. At a certain point in the installation docs, it mentions setting a root password for Webmin for Ubuntu systems and using that root user to administer Virtualmin. I could not get the command to work though. All I got was the usage help screen.

I've tried to apply letsencrypt on multiple domains from both the commandline and directly via webmin / virtualmin and I just get fails to request errors. At the moment I'm not sure where to look for logs that would give more information so as a starting place, where could I find those? Then I can hopefully provide some solid info and help getting SSL up and running.
