Title says it all, I've rebooted the server a Bunch of times and Haven't had an Issue (Matter of fact just had a kernel update the I HAD to reboot about 3 days ago), was going to do some work on the Main OS SSD Image and did a snapshot and reboot, To make sure the Snapshot was good, Lost SSL, Promoted the Snapshot to a full drive, SSL still gone...

SO This morning I reapplied for Let's Encrypt, and Added my server "ns1." to the list with "www" and the main domainname....

For some reason Chrome is saying that "NS1" is the issuer of the Cert....

ok the short:

I had web server for mydomain.com and it was working doc root /home/user/public_html/wpsite I was trying to add new.mydomain.com and the php wasn't working doc root /home/user/public_html/new

I coppied the directives from the site that was working changin the server allias and doc root but this did not get the php working

so I deleted all the virtual web servers except default and automatic with doc root at /var/www/html

I hope I post this in the right forum. I'm using Virtualmin 5.05 on CentOS Linux 7.3.1611.

I am having trouble installing Roundcube on a subdomain. I am using install scripts. The script fails with the following error: "Database connection failed: DBI connect failed : Access denied for user 'xxx'@'localhost' (using password: YES) 1427."

The user xxx is actually the Administration user of the main domain. Passwords are stored encrypted.

What have I tried to fix this?

Apache:Cache is getting HUGE on my CentOS-6-32

For 2 domains it's well above 3Gb each. My VPS space is 20Gb and I am at 95%, even though I only have a few not really active domains.

Is there any Webmin function that can reduce it, and maybe set a lower limit?

I've created 2 virtual servers. Let's call them "website1.com" and "website2.com".

I've added "prepend domain-name-servers 127.0.0.1" to "dhclient.conf". This correctly inserts 127.0.0.1 as the "primary DNS" before the DHCP-provided DNS from my ISP, so it should look up domain names with the DNS server on localhost first, right?

In Virtualmin, I've ensured that the virtual servers have been given DNS entries.

We have few servers with virtualmin installed and so far everything runs smoothly without any reliability issues. Now we are planning to install monit and supervisor to monitor some processes.

Cent OS - supervisor required by some of our php applications - monit required to monitor database status and to auto start on failures

So just wanted to confirm that installing these programs would conflict with any virtualmin stuff or not?

My root-disk shows as 99% full. I found out my log file was 43 GB big, so I deleted obsolte logs clearing over 40 GB in data (must enable logrotation ;o). But after that it still shows 99% full

I have installed Ubuntu 16.04 where php 7 is by default. One of my app does not work with php 7 how can I install php 5 and run it only for one domain?

I have a problem on my VPS. I just installed GIT and everything is ok but when i creat a Repositorie i can't acces it. It's saying "500 Internal Server Error".

I had to give access to MySQL to a dev but can't seem to find a way to change the MySQL user account pass. I have hashed passwords so it's not the account password.

I'm not looking to change MySQL's root password I know how to do this I just need to change the user pass for the virtual server.
