Connection Refused for software.virtualmin.com

As the title states, I am having difficulty making a connection to software.virtualmin.com, although we are in the same datacenter with even less than 1ms ping, I'd like to see if this is a issue unique to me as even lynx/curl/wget gets me a "Connection Refused" while pinging just fine.

Nothing works, not even the repositories, and although my others machines can, may this been a blacklist of sorts? Thanks. (My host is located in HostUS/Dallas)

Upgrading to PHP 5.6 and MySQL 5.6 on a CentOS 6.8 system (Multiple PHP Versions)

Hi there,
I am using Centos 6.8 with PHP 5.3.3 and MySQL 5.1.73 and I want to install a second php version so I can choose the newer one only when I want to force PHP 5.6 in specific servers.

I have found the links listed below but I still don't understand how to do it correctly, as the commands differ in the two links.

Can you please point me to the right direction on installing PHP 5.6 as a second instance?

I also want to achieve the same scenario in MySQL, as some sites need MySQL 5.6 or greater in order to work properly. Can I do it like with php?

Updated miniserv.pem now installation is hosed, refused to connect, cannot get in to webmin.

Just went through buying an SSL cert with Commodo for our server. Followed the directions on webmin configuration. uploaded .key and .crt files. clicked submit and got failed to write a new PID. I've rebooted the server and everything. I think (Hope) it's still serving out our hundreds of hosted websites but I can't tell because I can't get anywhere to manage this.

When I check the webmin status I get this:

Installation woes, email just disappears

Hi People,

I am trying to install a new version of Centos 7 on a local server but Email just disappears no bounce and no sign of anything in maillog.

New install Centos 7 Using sh ./install.sh but I found that Usermin wasn't running. Started that and seems ok.

I have set DNS set up for mail.mydomain.com to my local fixed IP and set the router to redirect port 25 to the box. I can ping mail.mydomain.com from remote (nice tool at wormly.com).

I Have set up mydomain.com as a virtual server and set up a user.

Virtual Server or Alias for economical use of real memory?

Hi. I am a new user of Webmin/Virtualmin and have a quick question.

I have many domains of my own to host on my server.

With regards to memory conservation, would it be more economical memory wise for me to create a Virtual Server and add domains as aliases?

Currently I have set up 10 of my domains as Virtual Servers and out of 8GB RAM, that is using 25% real memory.

Your thoughts please?

How to install extensions for multiple php versions?

Hello,

I have an old PHP 5.3 on CentOS 6. I installed a new PHP 5.5 according to the documents of Multiple PHP Versions (https://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/web/multiplephp). It does work but I need some new extensions for the new PHP 5.5. I wonder how I install the required extensions like GD for the new PHP 5.5 version?

Thank you for your help. Epets
