Ok ive tried to work this out myself but im confused.
I have a static ip address dns is running on the server my maindomain.com works fine FTP EMAIL you name it everything fine.
However when i add another server it kind of complicates things although the url to the server works and the webmail part the mx records and also the ftp server does not work and i was just wandering if anyone knew why.
also when i setup my server i wasnt actually sure what to use for the hostname at the time and stated using DHCP i have since modified this but when i make a new account the nameserver in the SOA appears incorrectly which gets reported as an error while running dns checks.
also how do i make a new virtual site but not offer any nameservers for instance.
if i set another domain IE anotherdomain.com to my name servers then set it up in virtualmin how do i keep the mx records and the other DNS stuff without offering any nameservers IE. ns.anotherdomain.com
god i hope this makes sense if not plese ask me to explain a litle further after a week of trying alone its not time to bite the bullet and ask for instance.
thanks to anyone who can help

No, but you'll need to offer some more details before we could help... what exactly isn't working, and what error do you get when you try?

If you wish to change what's being added for the nameserver/SOA record, go into System Settings -> Server Templates -> Default Template -> BIND DNS Server, and set the correct hostname in "Master DNS server hostname".

You don't need to provide DNS for any Virtual Server -- when creating it, just go into the features section and disable the "DNS Domain Enabled" option.
Of course, at that point, you'll need to have DNS setup elsewhere with all the A/CNAME/MX records created and pointed at your server.
