Instructions on Virtualmin say that in order to setup an SSL website "this option must be set to Virtual interface with IP and an un-used address entered. Virtualmin will activate this IP on your system when the server is created, and associate it with the server"
Does anyone have an example of what IP address I should use? What is meant by an un-used address? My server currently has only 1 ip address associated with it.
Due to RFC you need one IP address for every SSL certificate you own (since SSL certificate depends on it). So if you want to have SSL website, you must create (or virtualmin will do it for you) virtual interface which SSL website will virtualy run on. It is litle bit complex problem and if you have only remote access and you are not skilled enough be careful in setting up virtual interfaces and networking. I will do setup of SSL websites in near future and I think I will be able to help you afther this setup.
