Virtualmin Backup and restore - which option for backing up email messages?

  1. I am looking at running an email backup for client messages.

which option is it? Is there an option for this? (all i see is backup email for new users...what about old users? What is a "new" user in email terms anyway?)

  1. Also, can this be automated to run on a regular schedule from within Virtualmin GUI? If so, how?

You mean normal emails or messages from the virtualmin system only?

Normally hosters do not make email backups separate , those who do are using for email only servers. ( is a tip , running backups slowing down systems!)

Still then clients are/stay responsable for own local emailarchiving and backups. ( this should in EU for more then one reason)
