Howdy, It is few and far between that I've needed help with Virtualmin. The control panel has always been solid and easy for me to use. However, I am unable to figure out how my most recent domain is creating new users different than my previously created ones.
When generating a new user for my latest domain: "fake.com" with owner: "fake-pwnr" the users name for login gets created as "user1.fake-pwnr". What I was expecting was the creation of the new user to be "user1.fake" I double checked the settings for the creation of the domain and it should have been "user1.fake", username with first part of domain.
Any suggestions as to why this occurred and how to change the couple of new users that have the improper login to the "user1.domain"??
