I'm getting the following error on 2 of my domains (yet I had no trouble issuing SSL certs for my other domains). The server is not configured to use IPv6. And the domains in question also don't have (to my knowledge) an IPv6 record configured.
"...errors were found, which will prevent Let's Encrypt from issuing a certificate : Apache website : An IPv6 DNS record exists, but this virtual server does not have IPv6 enabled".
One thing that I have noticed though is when I am in the Let's Encrypt tab it is showing the following "associated domains":
mydomain.com
www.mydomain.com
mail.mydomain.com
autoconfig.mydomain.com
autodiscover.mydomain.com
Whereas, my other domains only show:
mydomain.com
www.mydomain.com
mail.mydomain.com
I should note that these domains are ones that were hosted elsewhere under a cPanel account and did have the autodiscover and autoconfig subdomains created. I have tried the option: Request certificate for --> domains listed, and only putting in mydomain.com but I am still getting the IPv6 error. How can I flush out any errors and 'stuck' domains?
Hi,
I have the exact same issue. Did you already found the solution? Let me know.
