New Webmin version 1.341 and Usermin version 1.270

Hi all, <p> I've just rolled out Webmin version 1.341 and Usermin version 1.270 for all platforms. The primary change in the Webmin package is a fix for some weird Postfix postconf interactions that were breaking our automated installation. So, configuration of Postfix during installation should be working right again. I hope. <p> If you ran into Postfix virtual maps errors after a fresh install, see below for a script to fix it. <p> Changes since 1.330 (we've had 1.337 in the repositories for a while now, so some of these aren't new for Virtualmin users): <p>

Change the default Blue Framed theme to match the style of www.webmin.com, and generally look nicer.

User interface cleanups in various modules (Apache, Backup Config, Webmin Configuration and others), adding tabs to reduce the size of pages and converting code to use ui-lib.pl.

The Perl Modules module can now fetch RPM or Deb packaged modules from YUM or APT, where available.

Added easy fields for sending SMS messages in the System and Server Status module (for US carriers that have email to SMS gateways).

Replace the old HTMLarea widget for HTML editing in the File Manager and Read User Mail modules with Xinha.

Linux quotas are now set with the <i>setquota</i> command, which shows up nicely in the actions log.

Optimizations to speed up getting the hostname and Postfix config settings.

Improved YUM and Redhat Network support in the Software Packages module.

View the[a href=&quot;http://www.webmin.com/changes-1.340.html&quot;&gt;detailed change log&lt;/a&gt;.

<p> Changes in Usermin since version 1.260: <p>

Change the default Blue Framed theme to match the style of www.webmin.com, and generally look nicer.

Replace the old HTMLarea widget for HTML editing in the File Manager and Read Mail modules with Xinha.

The Filter Mail module can now detect an entry in /etc/aliases that would override the user's .procmailrc, and displays an appropriate warning.

When automatic domain appending is enabled, both the first and second parts of the domain name are tried.

View the[a href=&quot;http://www.webmin.com/uchanges-1.270.html&quot;&gt;detailed change log&lt;/a&gt;.
<p> These updates should appear in the Security Updates box on your Virtualmin System Information page, or you can get them with the Software Packages module. And, of course, you can get them the old-fashioned way with the following commands: <p> To upgrade on Red Hat based systems: <p> yum update webmin usermin <p> On SUSE systems: <p> yast -i webmin usermin <p> On Mandriva systems: <p> urpmi.update -a urpmi webmin usermin <p> And on Debian/Ubuntu systems: <p> apt-get update apt-get install webmin usermin <p> Finally, if you've run into the Postfix virtual maps problem mentioned above during installation, you can perform the following actions on your server, and it will correct the problem: <p> wget http://software.virtualmin.com/lib/postfixer.pl perl postfixer.pl <p> After this, login to Webmin and re-run the configuration check. All should be well.

Blueforce

Hi Joe,

After the update today some of the System Information is not shown on IE. Virtualmin Information, Quotas and Programs are just blank space...
And when I expand Quotas I get a rather long side scroll in IE, and i'm using 1360x1024.

I have also reported it as a bug.

Regards,
Leif
