I have just installed Fedora Core 5 - I notice that this OS is not explicitly listed on the Webmin site in Supported Operating Systems. Can anyone advise ?
If you look on the main Webmin page and check out the extended version of the changelogs for version 1.290, you will see the following.
<b>Changes since Webmin version 1.290</b>
<b>Webmin Core[/b>
SELinux security contexts are preserved on files safely modified by Webmin's write-and-rename code.
Added xmlrpc.cgi program, which provides an XML-RPC interface to all Webmin module functions.
<i>Tested and improved support for Fedora 5.</i>
In theory, this should mean that Webmin can be installed on/with FC5.
The problem is, I myself have FC5 and I am having no luck with getting Webmin to work.
