Solaris is not yet supported by the installer and none of our packages (Apache, clam, ProFTPd, etc.) exist in any form for Solaris. The virtual-server Virtualmin Webmin module does have Solaris support, however, and I'll assume that's where the idea that Solaris is supported comes from. (So, you can get Virtualmin GPL and drop it onto a Solaris system and expect it to work fine, assuming you install all of the necessary components and configure them appropriately.)
