I've got to stop giving out release dates, because when I miss them, people have started calling me on it! ;-)
I don't know exactly when, but I'm absolutely certain Virtualmin will be available on Debian and Ubuntu long before October. You may have noted that Jamie has started providing DEB packages of Webmin and Usermin on the webmin.com site--this is a major step forward on the Debian support issue. It's getting very close.
