split name server

Hello; I have virtualmin server contain 2 name servers on it (registered from onlinenic) and working fine with the records, now i need to split the name servers after purchase new server to only host ns2.domain.tld. I know that the all records under /var/named to transfer to new server. So what is the best to do this and does the new server need virtualmin installed or just webmin and after that how to configure the virtualmin main server ns1.domain.tld to sync and update zones with ns2.domain.tld.
