Hi,
I noticed that users added thru virtual server don't have to enable SMTP authentication. For securtity reasons I'd like that everybody has to turn SMTP authentication on.
How can this be done in Virtualmin?
Sven
Hey Sven,
SMTP Authentication is enabled by default in systems installed in the past two or three weeks. If you installed before that, I've just added an entry to the FAQ to cover manual setup:
http://www.virtualmin.com/faq/one-faq?faq_id=1511#33021
It's not terribly difficult, but if you run into any problems let me know...the docs might gloss over something important, as I wrote them for myself originally in a bug about adding it to the installer.
If you installed in the past two weeks or so, and don't see the behavior you expect, let me know. There might be a bug in the installer causing this to not get setup correctly.
