Authentic Theme does not show the side slider properly in IE 11

The Authentic Theme does not show the side slider properly in IE 11. My clients use the IE 11 browser and are complaining that the side slider tab goes across the screen and they are unable to click on the inbox because of this.

I do not even know why this side bar is showing because I have it turned off. Is there another place to change the settings for the domains? At the moment I have the virtualmin theme for usermin.
