Per Domain Per User Email Retention Settings

Hi I was hoping someone could help me with configuring Email retention settings. I would like to set an email retention period say 1Year on a domain/user basis. Is this possible?

I had read that there was an email retention setting but cannot find it and struck out looking on Google for an answer.

Any help appreciated.
