how do you manage domains ownership?

I was thinking to create a server with a "fake" domain for the owner and then create true domains under it.

Howdy,

The domains added to a Virtual Server don't need to be real domains.

By using a fake domain name as the primary domain, that means all the users real domains would be in one place, in /home/USERNAME/domains.

There are some people who manage domain names that way.
