Hi, excuse me, I can't find how to add a hostname into the "S3-compatible server hostname" field. I'm using Virtualmin 4.14 and I want to add storage for backups from a swift server (RunAbove). Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
Howdy,
What problem is it that you're experiencing? Are you receiving an error of some sort?

Hi Eric. The problem is that it looks like there is no the option for adding the "S3-compatible server hostname"
I'm looking in System Settings, Virtualmin Configuration, Backup and restore but there is no the field to configure the swift storage.
I'm using Ubuntu 14.04 and Virtualmin 4.14
Do you know if I should look somewhere else?
Thanks in advance.
It is in one of two places:
For older versions (I know this to be the case up to at least 4.13)
Virtualmin > System Settings > Virtualmin Configuration > Backup and Restore
For newer versions (e.g. 4.18)
Virtualmin > Backup and Restore > Cloud Storage Providers
Hi
Trying to see if backuping to OpenStack Swift is available, I read all of the threads regarding this subject ... Having a Virtualmin 6, I looked into Virtualmin > Backup and Restore > Cloud Storage Providers but at that place I can only see S3 and Rackspace and no way to add another provider ... Other suggested places do not provide it either ...
Main problem here seems to be getting an answer :-( it seems that @dakser tried many times (I see at least 2 or 3 threads where he did ask the question) but he didn't get an answer, well anyway none that seems to be working.
