I have searched a lot but can't seem to find the solution to my problem. I've been having this problem for a long time and untill now dealt with it by not upgrading my phpMyAdmin. But because this is off course not the wise thing to do I want to give it another go.
I am running Virtualmin GPL 4.10 at the moment (although I was having the same isue in 4.09). When I update my phpMyAdmin version from the install scripts to any version higher than version 4, I get a blank screen after the update when I go to the loginpage for phpMyadmin. (www.mydomain.com/phpmyadmin) This is the case with version 4.0.01.2, version 4.1.14.3 and version 4.2.8. In version 3.5.8.2 everything runs fine! I am running Ubuntu 12.04, MySQL version 5.5.38 and PHP 5.3.10.
The strange thing is that if I view the source of the blank page I can see HTML code. It is just not displaying it. There are no errors in the logfiless. The accesslog is showing some entries but nothing out of the ordinary as far as I can tell. Tried a lot of things like changing owner and/or permissions, and digging through the php.ini and phpmyadmin's conf.inc.php files but with no success.
