sa-learn and remote spamassassin server

I have spamassassin setup on a separate virtual machine to offload processing/resource usage.

That works fine.

I'm wondering how spamassassin is learning bayesian training that is sent to spamtrap@domain.tld if it's run on a separate server. Can I rsync the trained spamassassin database from the virtualmin server to the spamassassin server? Or NFS mount the directory...

Not really familiar with the spamassassin directory structure so I don't know where it's storing this data.
